Oyster Worldwide are the specialists in gap year and responsible travel. Our friendly and dedicated team have been running our programmes since 2006. Offering a personal service and getting to know our participants well before departure is really important to us.


What makes Oyster different?


We offer demanding yet worthwhile and fun programmes in over 25 destinations around the world. Our dedicated travel experts manage your booking from start to finish and will get to know you well before departure. You can expect to be briefed and trained on what to expect thoroughly before departure. When in-country you will receive excellent support from our long serving overseas staff including an orientation course and language training, where necessary.


Our programmes range from 1 week – 12 months in duration so if you are looking for a full gap year / career break or just wanting to take a worthwhile 2 week holiday with a difference, Oyster will likely have something for you!


Paid work


If you are looking for paid work overseas, Oyster are the experts. We have great relationships with employers in Canada, Australia and Thailand. 


If you want to have a guaranteed job, earn a local wage and have a fantastic gap year or career break, paid work overseas with Oyster could be just what you are looking for.


Volunteering


With worthwhile overseas volunteer programmes available for a minimum of 1 week, up to 6 months, we have something for you. If you are short on time and looking to make the most of a holiday, our animal welfare and conservation projects are ideal as we can ensure you hit the ground running and start making a positive impact on day 1.
